Item Description
Established in 1965, East West Players has been called "the nation's pre-eminent Asian American theater troupe" (New York Times) for our award-winning productions blending Eastern and Western movement, costumes, language, and music. EWP has premiered over 100 plays and musicals about the Asian Pacific American experience..... Our emphasis is on building bridges between East and West, and one measure of our success is an audience of 56% Asians and a remarkable 44% non-Asian attendance. (from EastWestPlayers.org)
Shows are at the Union Center for the Arts in the Little Tokyo dsitrcit of downtown Los Angeles. You can choose from one of the following 2012 productions:
Three Year Swim Club (Feb 9 through Mar 11) - This play is inspired by the true life story of Soichi Sakamoto, who trained the youth of Maui to swim in the plantation irrigation ditches on their path to becoming Olympic champions.
A Little Night Music - (May 10 through June 24) - This Sondheim classic musical will become a newly envisioned production that is not to be missed.

Items available for pickup during the Holiday Bazaar at Larchmont Charter School West Hollywood at 1265 N. Fairfax, Los Angeles, 90046 on December 3 from 10 AM to 3 PM. If you are not available that day alternate arrangements for pick up during school hours will be made. If you are not local the item will be shipped to you.
Bidder is responsible for Shipping and Handling fee (gift certificates will be shipped for free), which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via UPS or USPS, and billed at standard industry rates.
