Item Description
Behold the spiceship! 10.5" H x 1.5" x 4" Fin span - One of a Limited Edition of 100. Handmade in Vermont by www.THEwalletpen.com. What at first glance may appear to be a tiny rocket ship is in reality a finely honed, hand powered machine of impeccable ergonometrics, engineered to reduce peppercorns to their chosen fate - the powdery dust perfect on poached eggs, the coarser pungent grounds for saucy sauces, or the cracked spice bombs of flavor preferred in the salad bowl. This spiceship is first and foremost a sleek sculpture of machined anodized aluminum, silky cherry or maple wood and stainless steel fins. Based on the aerodynamic theories of master craft builders of the Oort Outer Moons, Brancusian geometry and design studies of old comic books, this shape is the idealized spiceship. Perfect in the hands, graceful to the eye, wind tunnel tested, containing the world's finest mechanism (literally) with a lifetime warranty, coveted by all built by hand. To grind grab the Spiceship body in one fist and the nose cone in the other and twist back and forth vigorously. To precisely tune the grind, twist the small tail cone on the bottom moving the turbine engine in or out. Love your rocket. It will serve you well. These are fully tested in the rigors of restaurant use as well as the kitchens of TV chefs and were the recipient of a Niche Design award in 2002.
