Item Description

A made-from-scratch, homemade dessert delivered to your home each month on a mutually agreeable date. Desserts will be delivered from December 2011 through November 2012.

If allergies are a concern, dessert choices and or ingredients can be modified as needed. Some slight changes in desserts may be made based on the quality of seasonally available fruits.

Here's the decadence you have to look forward to:

December 2011: Mandelmusslor (Swedish Almond-Cream Tartlets)
Golden brown pastry shells intensely flavored with almonds, filled with fresh vanilla-flavored whipped cream and garnished with real Scandinavian lingonberries. An authentic Swedish Christmas treat.

January 2012: Caramel-Chocolate-Pecan Pie
A decadently rich pie with a layer of dark chocolate ganache and pecans, a layer of rich caramel pastry cream, topped with a layer of whipped cream, drizzled with caramel and chocolate syrups and sprinkled with toasted pecans.

February 2012: Silky Butterscotch Banana Pie
An adult version of banana cream pie - a creamy filling made from caramelized sugar, real scotch whiskey, and fresh bananas, and topped with whipped cream and more bananas

March 2012: Tequila Lime Tart
A taste of the Southwest - a succulent tart composed of a graham cracker and pine nut crust and a creamy, rich filling flavored with fresh limes and tequila, and topped with whipped cream.

April 2012: Decadent Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cheesecake
A very rich cheesecake with a chocolate and peanut butter flavored crust, and a rich, creamy peanut butter layer sandwiched between two dark chocolate layers, and sprinkled with crunchy peanuts.

May 2012: Pecan Praline Cake
A taste of Louisiana - layers of butter cake loaded with toasted pecans and brushed with bourbon syrup, with vanilla cream cheese icing, and topped with praline-coated pecans.

June 2012: Chocolate-Cherry Cheesecake Tart
Black Forest Cake was the inspiration for this tart, which has a chocolate crust and a subtly tangy cream cheese filling that is swirled with a cherry topping bursting with the flavors of fresh cherries and Kirsch.

July 2012: Mangoes and Sticky Rice
Freshly made Thai-style sticky rice flavored with sweet coconut milk, paired with fresh, ripe mangoes and served with more coconut milk.

August 2012: Steamboat Inn's Forest Berry Pie
The freshest raspberries, blackberries and strawberries go into this pie, surrounded by a crisp and tasty pie crust.

September 2012: Sour Cream Pear Pie
This pie is reported to be served every year at the Pear Party at Rasmussen Farm in Hood River - the freshest pears in a sour cream filling, with a pecan streusel topping.

October 2012: Chocolate Hazelnut Tart
An intensely chocolate tart filling with bittersweet chocolate, a bit of Nutella, and toasted hazelnuts on a crisp graham cracker crust.

November 2012: Julia Child's Pumpkin Pie
This pumpkin pie is packed with Fall flavors - pumpkin, molasses, bourbon, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg, and topped with fresh whipped cream.
