Item Description
"A Day of Carpentry and Cabinet Making" by Michael Gordy
Michael recently retired after 28 years as an elementary certified, middle school teacher. He is a long time KXCI listener and supporter and wanted to donate a day of carpentry to help you and help out the station we all love.
Michael has been building things since 1973. Projects have ranged from several total kitchen remodelings including building custom cabinets, shade structures including one that resembled a conch shell, additions.... to simple repairs, hanging doors, installing windows. A mentor once said "If you can draw it, it can be built." After all these years, "If you can imagine it, chances are it can be constructed."
A KXCI member for many years, supporting our "Tucson gem" has always been a priority. Now retired from his teaching career, he's still busy, but will find time to do your project if you help support KXCI.
Item Special Note
Winning bidder will receive a gift certificate and coordinate with Michael Gordy to arrange day of carpentry. No roofs. No Plumbing. Valid through 12-12-12. Tucson Area only.
