Signed book The Rise of the Einix by local author Tina D. Miller
Detailed Description:
After being confined in their home and hailed as obscurities in their small town for thirty years, twins Einar and Trixie Smith must discover society on their own after the unexpected death of their mother. The twins are in search of their own individualism and personal value in the town of Baldric, where sexual acts are bartered for goods and services, although neither Einar nor Trixie can actually partake in any sordid exchanges. Since Einar misunderstands the economic structure, he is unrealistically adamant to earn as much paper currency as possible for him and his sister. During this journey, the twins meet a myriad of bizarre characters, and Einar's and Trixie's perceptions of society become much different than the reality. The Rise of the Einix is a story of identity and individualism, exemplified by the siblings' inabilities to separate their identities from one another, regardless of their differences. It is a comical and tragic look at how greed and self-acceptance revolve around society's standards. http://www.facebook.com/Novelist.Tina.D.Miller
