Plan to spend the weekend of May 18 to 20, 2012 with your camera and contemplative photographer, instructor, and author Andy Karr in coastal Nova Scotia learning how to merge contemplation with photography.
Andy Karr is a long-time student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, and other Buddhist masters and author of this year's The Practice of Contemplative Photography.
Dorje Denma Ling in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, is Canada's only Shambhala International land centre. It was founded in 1992 to uphold the view, meditation and teachings of the Vidyadhara, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and his son and heir, the Sakyong, Mipham Rinpoche. The simple, unpretentious and elemental quality of Dorje Denma Ling provides an inviting place for local, regional and international gatherings for Shambhala Buddhism and other traditions that promote individual and global health and harmony. The content of the programs offered at Dorje Denma Ling spans all levels of experience with meditation and the human spiritual journey.
