Item Description
Center for the Visually Impaired, Inc., Daytona Beach. The mission of the Center for the Visually Impaired is "to empower and provide opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired to reach their highest personal, social and vocational potential through quality education, practical experiences and support services."
The organization decorated its Christmas tree with picture frames featuring the group's Transition Students, along with their hopes and dreams; rock candy ornaments that have been painted to depict canes; hand-painted glass bulbs with different eye colors; and plaques representing the positive effects of going through training at the Center for the Visually Impaired.
