Item Description
Dinner for two $50.
When two families came together to open a New York style diner restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, the result was a delicious success. Metro 29 began serving its immense portions of American favorites in 1995. The idea was to create a menu that offered something for everyone.
The on-site bakery was also a crucial component. Patrons are greeted by a glass case filled with layered cakes, cream pies, cheesecakes and 18 different kinds of mouthwatering pastries.
Outstanding dishes in a comfortable atmosphere have grown Metro 29’s reputation beyond the Washington metro area. In 2010, Guy Fieri from the Food Network paid a visit to try the famous food. Impressed, he featured Metro 29 on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Now folks come from far and wide to indulge.
