The winning bidder will receive the value of $160 towards classes of choice at Create a Cook, a cooking school for kids and adults located in Newton, MA.

Kids & Teens Cooking Classes

Our school year (which follows the Newton Public Schools' calendar) is divided into seven 5-week terms. During each term, we offer classes for kids in four specific age groups from 3-15.

The age ranges for the classes are:

3-5 (Preschool)

6-9 (Grades 1-3)

9-11(Grades 4-5)

11+(Grades 6-10)

Our classrooms are specially designed for kids of all ages—with adjustable tables and chairs, kitchen tools that are safe and user-friendly, and a warm and welcoming environment.

Theme: Kids Cook the Book!
Jump into some of our favorite cookbooks and discover new recipes as we learn from the creative authors and chefs who write them!  There’s always something new to discover when we crack open the books and start chopping, blending, and sautéing.

Adult Classes:

Date Night - Cooking for Couples

Take one of our wildly popular Date Night: Couples Cooking classes. You bring the wine and the date, partner, friend, neighbor, sister, whoever you like and we'll do the rest! Each couple will make the entire menu and you'll have plenty to take home too. Choose from classes like; Steakhouse Style, French Bistro, Thai, Italian, Tapas and Spain, Vegetarian and Mexican.  See the current schedule to choose a date that works for you (click on the class to see the full menu description).

Adult Cooking Parties

We supply the chef, the menus, the ingredients, the professional kitchen, a set table, and all the clean up.  Choose from one of our menus, invite your friends, sit back and we do all the rest!  A great idea for bachelorette parties, birthday or anniversary parties or corporate team building events.

Culinary Team-Building

If you are looking for a way to develop a team, reward employees for their work, add some creativity to your corporate event, consider booking a cooking party with Create a Cook. We supply the chef, the menus, the ingredients, the professional kitchen, a set table, and all the clean up. You choose from one of six menus or go for the chef’s choice. We greet guests with hors d'oeuvres, then welcome everyone, and introduce you to our chef.

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees. We thank you for helping with this and supporting the school.
