Item Description
"Lackawanna at Night" is an oil on canvas mounted on hardboard, 16" x 20" by Ricardo Roig 2011.
Ricardo Roig is an emerging, prolific, and local fine artist. His artwork is evocative, full of personality, and resides in the private collections of many Hoboken residences as he continues to grow his voice and career as a professional artist.
Ricardo is professionally represented locally by Barsky Gallery, 49 Harrison Street. He has also shown at Lana Santorelli Gallery, also in Hoboken, where he sold out of all 5 works on display. His work can be seen hanging in the Clam Broth House, and Dino & Harry's as Dino was one of the first to purchase his larger bar scene interior paintings that is apart of his large oeuvre of original oils.
Roig is a K-12 NJ certified art teacher who has studied in the Maryland Institute College of Art as well as abroad in Florence Italy. He taught as a visiting artist in the Hola School this past January.
He welcomes studio visits and creates unique commissioned artwork.
