Price Busters is the largest locally-owned discount store featuring party and seasonal merchandise, housewares, home accents, toys and trendy stationery with over 35,000 items. They currently have 8 stores on Oahu including Windward Mall, Kapolei Commons, Kailua, Aiea Commercial Center, Pearl Highlands, Dillingham Plaza, Mililani TownCenter, and Koko Marina.
Founded by Beth Tom as ERT Sales of Hawaii, Inc., a wholesale costume jewelry and hair accessory company, ERT opened its first retail store under the Price Busters name inKaneohe in 1992. In December 2010, Retail Partners of Hawaii, LLC, a newly formed joint venture of The MacNaughton Group and Kobayashi Group, LLC acquired the Price Busters business.
Through expansion and growth into the retail stores as we see them today, Price Busters has captured a niche in theHawaiimarket with its commitment to providing value-priced merchandise backed with exceptional customer service. In 2002, Price Busters received the Retailer of the Year Award from the Retail Merchants of Hawaii.
