Location Overview:  The Kentucky Distribution Center (KDC) is the primary distribution center for all of Genentech and Roche products in the United States.  The KDC ships finished packaged product to distributors, health care facilities and providers throughout the US via UPS, FedEx and Truck. Our mission is to ensure our patients have access to our important therapies.

The student will be invited to the workplace from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on a mutually agreeable date.  Aspects of the job will be shared with the student as well as a tour of the facility. Lunch will be provided on site unless other arrangements are made with the parent. You do have to register for the auction; however, Junior Achievement is offering this service at no charge to you and will not charge your credit card at time of purchase.  Simply put, the first bidder wins! A generous JA donor has made this opportunity possible.

Item Special Note

This auction item is offered on a first come, first served basis for a high school aged student only (16 years or older). Parent will sign a waiver and make arrangements to bring the student to the job shadow.  Parents may sign up on behalf of their child. This job shadowing experience is good through January 1, 2013.

A certificate will be mailed to the winner.  Please allow two to three weeks for delivery.

Gift Certificates are non-transferable, not for resale, and can only be used by the person named on the certificate. Gift certificate must be used before expiration date printed on the certificate. Only original Gift Certificates are valid, no copies are accepted. You must bring the original gift certificate with you when redeeming the item/service.
