Item Description
"The 30/30 Print Project gave me a welcome opportunity to experiment with some new techniques and re-visit a few familiar ones. The process was both humbling and exhilarating. The potential for unpredictable outcome in monotype printing connects directly to my primary studio work - oil painting - where improvisation and accidentals keep me guessing.
Water is a recurring theme in my abstract paintings. It suggests fluidity of time, memory and overlapping realities. In the print Troubled Waters I explore the darker side of our human inter-relationship with this essential element."
