Item Description
Winning bidder will receive a certificate for one week of camp, including ArtVentures, Summer Studios, Pottery or Jewelry programs. The certificate is good for any of these one week camps held in April or Summer 2012. April camp runs for 4 days and Summer camp runs for 5 days. The value ranges from $337 (spring 4-day) to $418 (summer 5-day).
ArtVentures: Eco Art, Ages 6-9

Have fun turning recycled materials into art! Projects include building mobiles, sculptures, and printmaking. Explore your creative side while taking part in fun projects with other students while saving the planet.
Jewelry & Metalsmithing: ages 12+

April Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am -2pm

This class will explore the different types of metals used in metalsmithing. Techniques include shaping, soldering, piercing, etching and embellishing in copper and brass. Students can make earrings, bracelets, brooches, boxes and more. Silver available for a small additional fee. Limited to 6.
Pottery & Wheelthrowing: ages 9-12

April Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am -2pm

This pottery class will give students an introduction to the basics of hand-building and wheelthrowing or allow them to build on their previous ceramics study. Projects will be glazed and kiln fired. Limited to 8.
Summer Studios vacation classes, ages 10-16
Our Mission
The Brookline Arts Center is a non-degree school for the visual arts committed to stimulating individual creative expression and appreciation of the visual arts by providing high quality, affordable programming. The Center is a supportive environment where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can study, create, and present art. Through educational programs, community outreach and exhibitions, the Brookline Arts Center brings people together and enhances community life.
