About Anya

At age nine, her mother taught her that "if you need it, you make it."

In between performances at the Musical Theater in Poland, she knit her daughter sweaters while waiting in the dressing room before going on stage to dance.

In West Germany, as a single mother, she knit to support herself and her daughter far away from family and friends.

From Poland, to Germany, and now, as an American living in New York City, she's still knitting.  Not from patterns, but from inspiration.  Not for survival, but for fashion.  Not out of necessity, but out of passion.  She can't teach her style-she's tried.  You won't find her one-of-a-kind pieces in a catalogue; each piece is handcrafted with the finest cashmere from Scotland and Italy.  It has to be, because for Anya, knitting is too personal for it to be any other way.

Learned from her mother, for the love of her daughter, and now, for the first time, for you!
