Item Description

2009 90+ Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva Lot 44 Curico Valley, Chile

1 Case of 12 bottles

The valley of Curico is located southeast of the city of San Fernando, flanked by the Pacific on the west and the Andes to the east. Cabernet Sauvignon thrives in this warm, Mediterranean climate infused with cool summer breezes. The fruit is picked from hillside vineyards above the valley floor, then fermented and aged in French and American oak for 12 months. Deep ruby red in color with and intense wave of black currant, plum, and bell pepper aromas wrapped in a cloak of anise and vanilla. A surge of rich, dark fruit rolls into your mouth followed by a ripple of acidity and an outpouring of luscious tannins. This is a brawny, outspoken red wine that wants to be served with skewers of grilled beef and vegetable, and roasted peppers with garlic.
