Item Description
This life-sized Gold Finch, set in a replica of it's natural habitat, was carved by World Champion Carver, Merrill S. Timmins, and would make a beatiful addition to any decor.
Each of Mr. Timmins' birds are hand crafted from a block of Basswood or Tupelo and painted true-to-life.
Item Special Note
The American Goldfinch, also known as the Eastern Goldfinch and Wild Canary, is a North American bird in the finch family. It is migratory, ranging from southern Canada to North Carolina during the breeding season, and from just south of the Canadian border to Mexico during the winter. The American Goldfinch is a social bird, and will gather in large flocks while feeding and migrating. Open meadow areas are the preferred habitat of the American Goldfinch.
