BK Swappers is a bimonthly Brooklyn-based larder swap and social gathering. It allows home cooks who bake, can/preserve, prepare, grow or forage food to trade the fruits of their labor for other delectable homemade foods.
Jane Lerner is a food writer and editor who has worked with amNY, Bon Appétit, the Brooklyn Flea, Garden Design, NYC & Company and Print, among many others. She lives in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, and is proud to affiliate the BK Swappers project with Just Food. Find her at janelerner.com
Megan Paska is a Brooklyn-based beekeeper, vegetable gardener and chicken wrangler. She is also an instructor at learning facilities like the New York Botanical Gardens and 3rd Ward. You can read more about her life at brooklynhomesteader.com

A day with Jane and Megan may include:

Winning a coveted spot at the next BK Swappers event and getting a behind-the-scenes look at Brooklyn's renowned food swap. You'll get to meet co-organizers Jane Lerner and Megan Paska (learn how to start a swap in your own community) and all of the passionate swappers who bring their homemade goods to trade. You'll also receive a special gift pack of locally sourced and produced sweet and savory treats! [The next swap will be March 18, 2012, at 3rd Ward in Brooklyn. This offer stands for the March swap, or any one thereafter.]
