Item Description
Have you ever dreamed of conducting a great symphony orchestra in one of the finest concert halls in America? Well, here is literally a chance of a lifetime! Repertory Orchestra is auctioning off an opportunity to conduct John Phillip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever on the stage of Orchestra Hall at the final MYS concert in April. You will have a 15 minute rehearsal with the orchestra on Saturday, April 14th at the Highland Junior High School in St. Paul. Then you will get 10 minutes of rehearsal time on the stage of Orchestra Hall to run through Stars and Stripes on Saturday, April 21st. Finally, your debut will take place on Sunday, April 22nd, where you will open the Repertory Orchestra's portion of the final concert conducting Stars and Stripes Forever in front of an appreciative audience of about 1,500. As a bonus, we will give you an 8X10 glossy photograph of you conducting the Repertory Orchestra.
