Located right here in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, and descending over 1000 feet of elevation, the tour takes nature-lovers and thrill-seekers across a series of tree-top zip lines. High-flying suspension bridges and hiking trails connect the zip lines, and the tour concludes with a complimentary ride on the Williwaw Racing Zip, a dual, side-by-side zip line leading right into the Bretton Woods base area!

Designed and constructed by Bonsai Design Inc., this unique canopy tour features a dual-cable construction (you slide below two separate cables, instead of just one), coated cables (to make for a quiet, more natural flight through the trees) and platforms and bridges milled from locally-harvested wood sources, in keeping with our commitment to environmentally sustainable programs.

Once on the tour, our knowledgeable guides describe the native flora and fauna, in addition to discussing the surrounding area, its natural history and White Mountain lore.

All in all, a unique New Hampshire experience not to be missed!

The Bretton Woods Canopy Tour is a unique zip line canopy tour experience in the heart of NH's White Mountains. This thrilling adventure will give you a bird's eye view of scenic Rosebrook Canyon. The 3 1/2 hour tour consists of 10 cable zip lines and two adventure sky bridges suspended 50 feet above the forest floor. Each zip line varies in length, with a maximum span of 830 feet and 150 feet above the ground. The final thrill consists of Williwaw Racing Zip, a dual zip line cable so you can race your friends or family members to the finish line!

The tour begins in the Bretton Woods Base Lodge, where you will meet your qualified guides who will be accompanying you during the entire trip. You will have a detailed ground school orientation to discuss safety and equipment procedures. After being outfitted in harnesses and helmets you will be transported up the mountain to the start of the tour.

The first zip lines are located in Rosebrook Canyon. During the time between zips, your knowledgeable guides will point out interesting facts about the native New England flora and fauna. You will be educated in local geology and the long cultural history of New Hampshire's White Mountain region. Connecting many of the canopy tour zip lines are scenic nature trails that bring you back down onto the forest floor to gather your wits as well as to observe the various plant species, and listen for and spot native song birds.
