Item Description
Have you always wanted to try your hand at guitar or expand on what you already know? Now is your chance! Get 3, 1-hour lessons with Guitarist Michael Havens. All ages and levels welcome. Beginners will be introduced to the different styles of playing, from classical to rock, reading notation and chord charts. Experienced guitarists can expand their knowledge base. Lessons to be taught at Michael's studio at Martin Music. Dates and times to be determined.
Item Special Note
Michael is a classically-trained musician who studied at Radford University for his B.A. before going on to the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, under full scholarship, to study for a Master's in Classical Guitar Performance. He has taught at Emory & Henry College, Sweetbriar College and Radford University and currently teaches Electronic Music and Classical Guitar at Patrick Henry High School. Michael performs locally with various groups including the Roanoke Symphony.
