This Photo is of "Fred" a thoroughbred gelding. He is a former racehorse, rescued from the track by LOPE Texas Sanctuary in Ceder Creek, Texas.
LOPE Texas is one of 13 sanctuaries featured in Karen's upcoming book about equine sanctuaries in the U.S. To be published by Rizzoli in Spring 2013.
