Item Description
Love Luggage, a Community Service project, created by the class of 2016. While in Third grade, this year’s fourth graders painted second-hand suitcases in small groups. As a class, the students learned about Henri Matisse and his paintings and cut-outs. Each group chose a Matisse artwork to paint on one side of the suitcase and developed an appropriate image for the other side.
The suitcases have multiple uses besides the obvious; but, being second-hand luggage, please inspect each piece carefully before taking it on a trip. These suitcases tend to be a little heavy and may get scratched. They would be great for storage of toys and treasures; a charming art center; or an original art and school portfolio, for holding those important, once displayed papers.
Item Special Note
Painted by Addison Wallace, Isabel Garcia-Sosa, Disha Sharda, and David Quek, featuring Henri Matisse’s Two Dancers and an abstract painting.
