Reno Sweeney
ANYTHING GOES (2011 REVIVAL)
2011
All aboard the S.S. American where evangelist Reno Sweeney will set your heart aflame. This fiery, orange-and-red sequined number is a replica of the dress worn in the second act opener, “Blow, Gabriel, Blow!” In the number, Reno and her angels turn up the heat for the ship’s guests and crew, and now you can join in the party. Our Reno bear wears a dress of red and orange stretch velvet with flame cutouts encrusted with genuine Swarovski crystals and strands of sequins for flapping, an exact replica of the original worn by Sutton Foster in the 2011 Tony Award-winning revival. Under the dress is a pair of red panties adorned with more crystals. Her handmade shoes with working buckles are made of glittered, vinyl material with leather straps in metallic finishes. The soles also are made of real leather with rubberized heels so she won’t slip when she’s doing her infamous kicks. Reno’s blonde locks are a handmade lace-front wig tied with real human hair. If you need your soul to be saved, come find Reno because this evangelist is ready to preach.
