Item Description
Inspired by the movie Walk the Line, this beautiful work of art by Mrs. Baker's Kindergarten class was created using Pointillism. By dipping pencil erasers in paint (a pointillism technique) the children created the entire poster from dots of paint. They were fascinated about how mixing dots of cool colors and warm colors created more energy in the painting, and especially loved how the painting looked different when they stepped back a few feet to look at it from a distance. Complex and simply beautiful at the same time, this work of art will look fabulous displayed anywhere, and would serve as an enduring reminder of a magic year at Sarah Smith.
