Item Description
Using mystical energy fields and other materials, Mrs. Gray's 1st Grade class has created this wonderful poster inspired by Star Wars. The children cut small cards of scratch art with colorful backgrounds into small pieces, and glued the pieces together to create a mosaic. Broken Christmas Tree ornaments were used for the light sabers, giving the sabers a cool glowing effect. Other futuristic materials provide a fun three-dimensional look to this beautiful masterpiece. The students are truly proud of their creation, and have declared the light sabers to be their favorite part. They also had a ton of fun putting the scratch art mosaic together to make it reveal the figures in the poster. As Yoda said in Star Wars Episode II, "Truly wonderful the mind of a child is." We agree!
