Cuvelier 2008 Bordeaux
- Item Number

Item Description
A beautiful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Merlot (15%), this wine was created as a 'second label' of sorts between the two main wineries of The Cuvelier Family in the Bordeaux region of France, the esteemed Chateau Leoville Poyferre in Saint Julien and Chateau Le Crock of St. Estephe. This 2008 is from the vintage of Bordeaux that Robert Parker stated "turned out to be excellent, with a number of superb wines that are close to, if not equal to the prodigious 2005 or 2000 vintages". This lovely Bordeaux marries the distinctive black currant aromas of a Cabernet with the softer, fruiter qualities of Merlots. You will love the result -- a rich, garnet color wine with complex structure, depth of flavor, and ageability. Your palate will thank you for this elegant and silky experience!
