Item Description
Wine Enthusiast magazine gave this vintage a whopping 94 points with good reason raving deeper, darker, richer wine than the '07... almost sweetly jammy in black cherries, raspberries, cola and caramelized oak, it's rescued by firm tannins and a finish that dries it out in minerals and spices". This exuberant red hails from the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. Offering boisterous aromas of plum, black cherry, and raspberry pie, it peaks with ripe red fruit on the palate and balanced tannins that build to a spicy, smokey, cinnamon finish. Parker gave it 88 points but noted there is a lot to like here, and I think with 2-3 years of cellaring, this wine could turn out to be better than I have rated it." Sound enticing?
