Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV 750ML

Item Description
Immediately recognizable, the distinctive yellow label of Veuve Clicquot stands out as a symbol of consistent quality for Champagne lovers. The yellow label dates back to 1873 when Madame Clicquot first put a yellow label on a vintage wine. The signature anchor logo dates back to 1798 when Clicquots founder chose this symbol of hope and riguor as the distinguishing mark of his wines in the era before labels became customary. A symbol of excellence throughout the history of Champagne, the house of Clicquot is still judged primarily on the quality of its Brut non-vintage, which, more than any other wine reveals its art of assemblage. This NV Brut was described in Wine Spectator as plenty of finesse in this smooth-textured Champagne, whose flavors evoke apricot, peach, vanilla pastry and mineral. Racy, with snappy acidity providing energy and driving the flavors to a long conclusion. There is no substitute for the yellow label when you want bubbly with real pop!
