Item Description
Join MWCDC staff on a private tour of Emerald View Park, Pittsburgh’s newest 280 acre regional park, sitting high atop Mount Washington. Created by a unanimous vote of City Council in 2005, Emerald View Park is changing the way we view Pittsburgh and her hillsides. Since being created as a park, the MWCDC, co-stewards of the Park, have planted 4,500 trees, removed 160,000 pounds of illegally dumped garbage, enabled 5,000 hours of volunteer work, and created a 19 mile trail plan. Discover Emerald View Park’s charm and drama during a personal tour of the Park and a hike on her newest trail overlooking the West End, the Ohio River, Heinz Field and the Point. You won’t be disappointed!
After your walk enjoy a well desreved rest with a $20 gift certificate to the Bigham Tavern
