"We welcome you and your family to visit our two rairoads in Scenic NH. Take a scenic nostalgia ride in vintage equipment and have family fun. At Hobo RR in Lincoln we have entertainment from costumed characters such as Corduroy and Olivia to clowns, magicians and more differing by day of the week along with picnic and playground facilities to make it a family fun experience right in Franconia Notch along with all the other fine White Mountains attractions. In the Lakes Region we welcome you to the Winnipesaukee RR that rides along 7 miles of shoreline on New England largest lake. and also enjoy the Weirs Beach area featuring arcades, food, a boardwalk and a fine sand beach and more along with the MV MT Washington, All 262 feet of her that docks right at the train station."

Enjoy a nostalgic scenic excursion along the shores of the lake. We travel between Meredith and Lakeport always within view of the lake. The railroad line was built in 1849 which was well before any development occured on the then remote lake. We travel through the front yards of many of the fine resort homes. Once a part of the Boston & Maine Railroad that brought tourists to the lake for summer vacations from the late 1890’s to the 1950’s. Weirs Beach was a busy summer resort with many fine "Grand Style Hotels” lining the shore of the lake.
