Item Description

“Lana‘i,” a quiet island west of Maui, offers crystal-clear waters and fine white sand beaches along its coast which are set off by rugged red lava cliffs and misty highland forests of Norfolk pine frequented by native deer. Ancient petroglyphs, shipwreck fragments and stone ruins illustrate a mystical Polynesian past. Venture onto the 12-mile Munro Trail through rainforests to witness the island’s highest point and a view of nearly all the inhabited Hawaiian islands. Be sure not to miss the small-town charm of Lana‘i City, or the island’s world-class golf courses. The island is 98% privately owned, providing a sense of uncrowded natural calm.
