MICRO, a high-concept thriller in the vein of Jurassic Park, was left unfinished by Michael Crichton when hedied in 2008. Richard Preston has completed the novel, now published by HarperCollins.
Preston says: “When I first read Michael Crichton’s unfinished manuscript, I could practically feel his excitement filling the pages. He was writing at the top of his game, with a grand sense of adventure, exploring an eerie world that seems almost beyond imagining, the microworld. It’s the world of very small nature. Micromonsters, microbeauty, and heartstopping suspense.”
