Item Description
Betty Rizzo
GREASE
1972
The Pink Ladies don't come any tougher than Betty Rizzo, the sardonic leader of the Rydell High pack. Often dubbed the "original bad girl," Rizzo surely had a heart of gold, even if it wasn't always easy to find. But just one look at our Rizzo bear will make your own heart melt. Inspired by the original 1972 costume design by Carrie F. Robbins, our Rizzo bear is literally a Pink Lady to the core. Rizzo wears white clam digger pants and a turquoise blue sweater under a black satin Pink Ladies jacket, which comes with a working zipper and Rizzo’s name embroidered in matching pink. Maybe there are worse things she could do but she’s the picture of 1950s cool in her black Mary Jane shoes with silver buckles. Her black hair has been styled in a period 'do reminiscent of Tony Award-nominee Adrienne Barbeau’s original look when the show opened at the Eden Theatre. You and this Rizzo bear go together and that's the way it should be.
