Item Description
Horseback Riding Lessons on the Peruvian Paso Horse
This is your opportunity to experience and learn to ride the exciting, gaited Peruvian Paso horse. This rare breed traces its Spanish roots to the Barb, Spanish Jennet and the Andalusian. It is said to have sprung from the horses of the Conquistadors in the 16th century. Besides its good temperament, the Peruvian Paso is probably best known for its unique gait which makes it one of the smoothest riding horses in the world.
Item Special Note
Larry is the President of the Wine Country Peruvian Paso Horse Club and a 2011 inductee to the Sonoma County Horse Council Equus Hall of Fame.He is accomplished in competitive show riding, and enjoys the trails, parades and performing in exhibitions.
"I believe that knowledge leads to confidence and a more enjoyable horse riding and handling experience. So, you will not only learn to ride on my Champion Peruvian Paso horses, you will also learn proper ground handling, grooming, tacking up, conformation, understanding gaits, bloodlines, and breed and tack history. I personally give all lessons (individual only) to adults or children of at least 8 years of age. Lessons are 1.5 hours in length at $75 per session at my ranch in Petaluma, California. All levels of horse experience are welcome."
