Item Description
Searching for Carver's Bobby Fischer!
Six Carver chess prodigies (accompanied by a chess loving parent) will have the opportunity to meet Mark Saylor - a National Chess Master and Pulitzer Prize winner.
This special event will begin with a pizza lunch featuring a talk by Mark on how chess has helped him think "many moves ahead" in life, in business and during his time at Harvard.
After lunch, all the children will play Mark simultaneously. The child lasting the longest with the most moves against the esteemed National Chess Master will win this exciting tournament. Who knows, your talented child might even checkmate the master!
A round of casual chess matches among the Carver peers will follow with the Chess Master providing strategic feedback.
Tournament hosted in the home of Pearl and Albert Lee.
