Item Description
"Blue Bucket" is an eyecatching giclee print on aluminum by artist Leslie Anderson, measuring 11" x 14."
Artist Statement:
"For me, painting is an analogy for life, a balance of risk and control; knowing when to push harder; knowing when to stop. I started painting several years ago to relieve the stress of my high-tech career, never dreaming it would change my life.
I recently moved to Maine with my husband Dan Nygaard (of Dan's Flower Farm) to organize my life around making art. Since then I have established my studio/gallery in Sedgwick, had numerous solo shows, made many new art friends, and sent many, many paintings to new homes in corporate and private collections around the world.
Please take a moment to send me your feedback on my work, and come visit our farm and gallery in beautiful downeast Maine!"
This item was donated in honor of Louisa Wickard and Joy Merrill.
