For the first time in US wine industry history, Mexican-American vintners and wine industry leaders joined forces to launch the Napa Valley Mexican-American Vintners Association with the mission of promoting Napa Valley wines produced by Mexican-American vintners, to advocate quality standards for its members and to promote and support the contributions of Mexican-Americans in the wine industry.

Collection of California Sales Tax
Unless a valid resale permit is presented to seller prior to the sale, purchaser will be required to pay all state and local retail sales taxes applicable on the date of sale. Resale permits will be accepted only for businesses that are reasonably expected to buy and sell wine. Sales tax will be collected on the fair market value of each lot.
