Item Description

Carlotta Guidicelli
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
1988

On February 11, 2012, the international blockbuster musical The Phantom of the Opera celebrated its astonishing 10,000th performance on Broadway. In honor of this unprecedented event, we proudly present Carlotta Giudicelli as she appears in the Il Muto scene. Our Carlotta bear is ready to take the stage as the resident diva of the Paris Opera in an exquisite Rococo gown. This formal French court attire is inspired by the original Tony Award-winning design by Maria Bjornson. Her pink embroidered organza dress is trimmed with lace, black jet and Austrian crystal. The boned bodice is also decorated with glass, crystal and jet. Her over-robe is made with pink-beaded silk chiffon and trimmed with painted lace, black jet and Austrian crystal. Carlotta’s delicate shoes are handmade, beaded with silk and finished with black lacquer heels. She wears handmade, feathered jewelry made to match the delicate details on her bodice. The entire outfit is literally topped off with a formal white wig covered in platinum blonde curls and festooned with ostrich feathers. Dressed to impress, our Carlotta bear is ready to become the star of your house.
