Item Description

Naturopathic medicine is based on the belief that the human body has an innate healing ability. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) teach their patients to use diet, exercise, lifestyle changes and cutting edge natural therapies to enhance their body's ability to ward off and combat disease. NDs view the patient as a complex, interrelated system (a whole person), not as a clogged artery or a tumor. Naturopathic physicians craft comprehensive treatment plans that blend the best of modern medical science and traditional natural medical approaches to not only treat disease, but to also restore health. Your initial visit will be approximately 1.5 hours in length. During that time, Dr. Fasullo will take a thorough history, examining current health concerns, as well as delving into many other aspects of health including diet, lifestyle, and stressors. The aim is to gather a full portrait of who you are and how you lead your life. You and Dr. Fasullo will discuss various aspects of your life that your other doctors may never have addressed in an effort to better achieve this goal. Naturopathic medicine encompasses a number of different treatment modalities, any number of which may be employed to best match your case. For example, Dr. Fasullo specializes in botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, and cranio-sacral therapy, though he may employ other treatments if they are best indicated for your particular situation. These treatments function to shift your body in order to regain its own sense of balance and optimum performance. Some treatments create changes that will last a lifetime, while others will necessitate continual care, as is the case with many chronic conditions. Dr. Fasullo is available by appointment Tuesday through Friday.
