Item Description
* SILENT AUCTION ITEM *
Hand-knit especially for the Fiesta auction by CDS parent Cari Spivack, this adorable jacket would make a beautiful, one-of-a-kind baby gift.
The pattern, commonly known as "EZ's Baby Surprise Jacket", was developed in 1968 by iconic American knitter Elizabeth Zimmerman. The construction is an engineering marvel. It is knit in one piece and then, after two folds and two seams across the shoulders, it magically turns into a wearable garment.
This Baby Surprise Jacket is made of hand-dyed superwash merino wool. It will fit a child approximately nine months to a year-and-a-half, as the sweater is very stretchy and the sleeves are designed to be worn at three-quarter length.
You will be able to see this adorable jacket in person on the night of Fiesta.
Item Special Note
Machine washable, dry flat. Five extra buttons are included.
