2012 PRIDE Auction Fund-an-Item Bleacher Project 

  • The current bleachers on the home side of Memorial Field have been in existence for more than four decades.
  • The capacity crowd at this year’s homecoming event provided a stark reminder of what may happen when an energetic crowd tests the boundaries of how much 40 plus year old bleachers can withstand without something disastrous happening.
  • The goal of the Bleachers Project is to raise $450,000 to completely replace the existing bleachers with a new 1,500 seat state of the art, ADA compliant bleacher system that will provide for the safety, comfort and seating capacity for our fans that attend games at Memorial Field.  
  • Work that will be done on the Bleachers Project will be consistent with the long range plan to upgrade and improve the competition field complex.
  • With commitments and support of the Bellarmine Boosters, lead gifts from several generous individuals and foundations, the remainder to be raised to complete the project is $100,000
  • The PRIDE Board has set a goal of $100,000 for Fund An Item to complete the funding  of the Bleachers Project.
