Southern Pig Dinner
- Item Number
- 348-351
- Estimated Value
- 75 USD
Item Description
A home-cooked, slow-cooked Southern dinner at our home. The menu depends on whether Wendy feels like getting out the smoker and what the weather's like. She could serve slow-cooked pork butt, or she could smoke it low and slow over hickory and apple wood. You might have sides like collard greens and heritage grits, or she might just stick to slaw and corn on the cob for her bbq sandwiches, along with some bourbon butter bbq sauce. Either way, there will be cold beer, sweet tea, or fine bourbon. Your choice on the drinks. Ed.: Wendy grew up in Tennessee and is a home cook and food logger. www.smokyoven.wordpress.com. (Seriously good food, here.)
