As you stroll along the tour path you will meet many of the magnificent animals that call the sanctuary home, such as lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, bobcats, ocelots and servals.
Big Cat Rescue is one of the world's largest accredited sanctuaries for exotic cats who have been abused, abandoned, retired from performing acts or saved from being slaughtered for fur coats. The sanctuary houses over 100 big cats, a total of 15 of the 35 species of wild cat. Many species at Big Cat Rescue are threatened, endangered or extinct in the wild. Learn all about these elegant creatures and what you can do to preserve them in the wild.
Big Cat Rescue is the largest accredited sanctuary in the country dedicated entirely to abused and abandoned big cats. Big Cat Rescue is accredited by the Global Federation of Sanctuaries.
The mission of Big Cat Rescue is to provide the best home we can for the cats in our care and educate the public about the plight of these majestic animals, both in captivity and in the wild, to end abuse and avoid extinction.
