PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT
2011
Only a girl as outrageous as Felicia could pull off an outfit like this. When she and her pals make a pit stop on their road trip to Alice Springs, they certainly turn a few heads in their glamorous drag. Our Felicia bear wears a handmade corset and panty set made from neon spandex in a multitude of colors. Handmade rosettes dot the corset generously to match the original worn in the Broadway production by Nick Adams. Her snail shoes are made of a blue metallic spandex base topped with green marabou and accented with green and pink glitter ribbon. The snails were handmade from moldable foam wrapped in plaster and painstakingly hand-sanded before being painted with the same paints used in the show. Her eyelashes, adorned with authentic Priscilla glitter, come direct from the Broadway production. No queen would be complete without a fabulous wig, and Felicia’s is a winner in blue quilted neoprene fabric under a layer of fluorescent yellow striping and gold glitter. This queen is ready to sing Madonna from the top of Uluru – and look fabulous doing it.
