Item Description
Really cool things happen after dark at the Chabot Space and Science Center! This exciting overnight adventure includes exploration of all running exhibits, from Beyond Blastoff, an inside glimpse into the life of an astronaut, to One Giant Leap, a simulated moonwalk! You’ll also set off on a scavenger hunt and even go for a night hike in the surrounding redwoods. Channel your inner rocket scientist as you create and launch your very own bubble-powered rocket, or learn how things freeze by making your very own ice cream. Top it all off with a live planetarium show and a sneak peek at Chabot’s most powerful, modern, research-quality telescope. Then curl up in your sleeping bag in the stellar exhibits amid nebulae and galaxies. Just don’t get too close to the black hole! Pizza dinner and continental breakfast included. Minimum age is five, but the program will is most appropriate for students in grades 2-6.
Item Special Note
One adult chaperone for each group of four students. This is a Count-Me-In event. $150 per person. 60 spots available. Adults must purchase a spot for themselves and their children.
