Morgan Kuhn's study of art began in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia at the Telfair Museum of Art and continued at the Gibbes Museum in Charleston, South Carolina where whe lived for many years. There she studied with many nationally known artists and was featured in several magazines and newspaper articles. She has since returned to Savannah where she continues to expand her horizons and talents.
Musicians are a repeated theme in her paintings. The power of the sounds, the colors and shapes of the instruments are a constant source of inspiration. "I admire the dedication and talent of each musician and try to capture the mood created by the music."
Morgan now shows exclusively at The Downstairs Gallery, which is on the garden level of her 1880's historic home in Savannah.
