Item Description
$75 Certificate to Indian Road Cafe in the Inwood section of New York.
Inwood remains largely an undiscovered gem. It’s a place of vast green parks, tranquil bodies of water, and a storied history. The cafe is located on the very last corner of Manhattan (218th Street and Indian Road).
The café is broken up into 2 sections. The first being the main seating area which includes a 75 year old oak bar that the owners, Jason and Jason, found up in the Catskills and transported back to New York City. It also features 4 tremendous windows which open up in warmer months providing sweeping park and water views. Finally, this larger section is furnished with tables and chairs formerly of The Sopranos restaurant set, Nuovo Vesuvio. (One of the owners was in film production and worked on the Sopranos).
The second section of the café features a cozy lounge-like atmosphere with a couches and wingback chairs. Mahogany paneling and a faux fireplace (electric in winter) ring its walls.
The café offers a variety of fresh and seasonal fare, including panini, salads, soups, and artisanal meat and cheese plates.
