In 2003, Dia Art Foundation opened this museum on the Hudson River to house its renowned permanent collection, comprising major works of art from the 1960s to the present. Artists whose works are on view include Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, John Chamberlain, Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, On Kawara, Agnes Martin and Richard Serra, among others, all displayed in a vast and awe-inspiring converted factory.
