Item Description

This gorgeous set of nine sterling silver, hand-formed bangles was created exclusively for this event by Jody Stokes of Eugene Oregon. Organic in shape, each bracelet is hand cut, formed, soldered (cadmium free) and rolled. The artist etches patterns into recycled brass sheets, and uses a rolling mill to transfer the pattern to each sterling bracelet, made of sterling. Jody Stokes signs each unique piece and the etching plates have been destroyed, therefore, the bracelets will always be, one of a kind!  The artist has also left one bracelet blank and she will personalize it for you!

Jody Stokes’ daughter, Bailey Stokes, is a faculty member in the WSU Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles department. Jody Stokes graduated from the University of Oregon in 1979, majored in Interior Architecture. With Jody’s background in design and her love of running solder up a seam, casting or hand, Jody had found her niche in jewelry design and crafting. She loves the way metal can be moved, manipulated and recycled!

She makes one of a kind pieces that are designed truly from her heart and inspired from the beauty, kindness and love projected from her family, friends and the nature, that surround her.
